We are closely monitoring Tropical Storm/Depression Fred, which is currently near the Dominican Republic and Cuba. Fred is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, August 14th. The National Hurricane Center is currently predicting that Fred will move parallel to the west coast of Florida and make landfall in the panhandle. Locally, we can expect periods of heavy rain and occasional wind gusts in excess of 30 mph on Sunday, the 15th, and Monday, the 16th. At this time we will post updates daily.
