Dear Colleagues,
I write to express my appreciation to all of you for your generous spirit and responsive flexibility as we work together through these times. I am especially grateful for the COVID-19 Response Team that is convening daily to consult the best information available, track the CDC and WHO advisories, and deliberate about the soundest policies and plans for Rollins.
Here is the letter I sent to parents of Rollins students Monday. I want them to understand, as I hope you understand, that we are working to make the very best decisions possible in a rapidly changing context, always driven by our mission and by our concern for the welfare of our students, faculty, and staff.
This is a time when we are putting to work our very best efforts as global citizens and responsible leaders. I have unshakeable confidence in our collective ability to navigate these turbulent waters together.
