Rollins Community:
We continue to monitor Tropical Storm Ian, which at this time is expected to impact Florida next week as a hurricane.
We continue to ask students to complete their hurricane plan if they have not done so already. All campus community members should take time this weekend to prepare their hurricane plan, as well as personal hurricane kits, which should include enough food and water for three days, along with any necessary medications.
Our Emergency Operations Plan indicates that we will provide between 48-72 hours’ notice should we decide to close campus for any length of time. Decisions about classes and campus operations will be made and communicated Sunday.
