Crummer Graduate School Update

From Dean of Crummer Graduate School, Deborah Crown

Crummer Students,

Moments ago, you received a message from President Cornwell regarding the college’s COVID-19 response. Effective Monday, March 23, all Crummer classes will be held synchronously (live) through Web-ex. As the President stated, your safety and the safety of the entire Rollins and Crummer community is of utmost importance.

As we quickly move to a virtual, synchronous learning environment on March 23rd, I am confident that we will be able to continue to provide you with the excellent learning experience for which Crummer is known.

Below, I have included some specific information for you by program. Also, I want to reaffirm that any student may chose to participate virtually in classes delivered today through March 23rd simply by notifying their instructor.

Early Advantage MBA Students (EAMBA)
Though we will be moving to a virtual, synchronous format on March 23rd, experiential learning and personal interaction between faculty and students as well as between students will still be our approach. Your instructor will contact you by email to let you know how to prepare for your virtual, synchronous classes, including the url to access WebEx (many of you already used it this week). Classes will be held in a synchronous manner, in other words, class meeting times won’t change (an 8:30am class on Tuesday morning will continue to meet at that time). The only difference is that you’ll meet using WebEx and make use of other tools such as Canvas. You will continue to be able to contact your instructor using email and by phone. We are here to assist you as we make the move to a virtual, synchronous format on March 23rd. If you have any questions, please contact your instructor. If you have technical questions, feel free to contact the HelpDesk (407-628-6363).
