Update 8: Hurricane Dorian, August 31, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

After reviewing the National Hurricane Center’s latest report, we would like to provide a campus update.

At this time, Hurricane Dorian is projected to move further east, away from Central Florida. While we are more optimistic about Dorian’s potential impact to campus, we are cautious that the track might change. We plan to conduct a damage assessment after the storm passes as soon as safety permits.

Our next update will be Sunday afternoon. At that time, we will announce plans for students to return to campus and when classes will resume. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make plans to keep our entire campus community safe.

Please continue to monitor the College’s emergency site and Campus Safety Facebook and Twitter for the most up-to-date information.
